Hey awesome people wassup! So we are at the time of the year again.... "Cultural Diversity Week" the biggest event this semester apart from Valentine's day that didn't actually go well for me except the "Share a coke with joker" part that was organized by Lilian Chepng'etich . And by the way I never even drank that soda because of funny selfish reasons or lets just say the can fell and 'lipukad' in front of me :(.
Anyway the talk of this month is cultural week and most Chuka chics and dudes just can't stop yapping about it. Everywhere you go there's a 66% chance you will find a Chuka comrade talking about how cultural week will or should be, others hoping that lectures will not occur for that period and how they might get a chance to sneak home.
Okay, to be honest I am tired of some guys who practice what they will present during that much awaited function in public places such as Litmus or London. You should mind other people's peace of mind. And am saying this because of what actually happened to me days ago. I was having a lunch date with bae (mahindi boiled vs Njugu karanga) this is like the typical githeri but this meal has graduated in the university. The two guys walk into the hotel singing a giriama song or whatever the language was. I thought they were going to stop after they take their seats but oops!
They STOPPED! only when the waiter came to take their orders. So am trying to "angusha mistari" to this chic who is on a date with me but its like "naongea katikati ya wimbo" as the guys who just walked in raise their voices. Am not taking her to bed, am I?
To cut the short story shorter, my date was ruined! Enough of my fake stories, its not too late to start planning for Cultural Diversity Week and 2015 is shaping up to be the biggest and brightest yet!ccording to Lillian Chepng'etich, this year's cultural week is to roll on 23rd this month. This is an opportunity for all Chuka comrades to come together during this special week. if there's a guy or girl you've been eyeing too long, now is the chance bro!
This is what Lilian posted recently on CUC's timelineon 23rd Feb but Am not sure if it's updated.
Hello fellow comrades, here comes the moment of serving with passion, great thoughts expressed in simple words, big hopes restored in simple wishes. With the confidence you had in me, i will always single out our potentialities and make actualities out of them..Service to comrades remains to be my main stand.
Now, THE GREAT CULTURAL WEEK 2015 is here.16th-20th MARCH 2015 is the actual moment. My urge to you is let us all prepare thoroughly well to display all about our different cultures.
