Two needy Chuka University comrades did benefit from a weekend harambee held at L8 that saw 45, 000 raised for their fees.
Sosten, a Chuka comrade studying a diploma in Education has now settled his Ksh.18, 000 fee balance while Ksh 27,000 was raised in aid of Philip Koech a bachelor’s education student.
Clubs have always come to the aid of needy comrades in times of need: not only to raise fees but to console and provide emotional support when a comrades loses a loved one.
