| The 1 Billion Male Hostel Under Construction Design |
During the inauguration of the new elected Chuka University Students Association (CUSA) leaders last month, Chuka University VC Prof Erastus Njoka made it known to the public that the Varsity had embarked on a 1 Billion male hostel construction that would house 5000 students. The move is seen as a bid by the institution to reduce reliance on private hostels which are too costly for the students. Some of the private hostels go up to Ksh 30,000 per semester with the lowest charging Ksh 8,000. Below are photos of the 2nd biggest project in Chuka university.
